Effective Monday, April 17, 2017, please be advised that the Housing Authority of the City of Perth Amboy will implement new office hours of operation for program participants as follows:
Monday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: Appointments Only- No Walk-Ins
Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: Appointments Only- No Walk-Ins Office Closed to Public
Due to an increase in our Public Housing/Section 8 caseload, it is necessary for the Authority to restrict unscheduled visits from program participants so that staff has uninterrupted time to process documentation in a timely manner.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause and would like to assure you that we are always committed to providing the highest quality standards in housing and customer service.
We encourage you to use email to correspond with staff, as well as our voicemail system to leave staff a message.
Public Housing Residents may continue to access the office to pay rent or report a maintenance problem. All other business must be conducted according to the stated hours.
Business Partners may continue to call or visit the Housing Authority Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
