Our Lady of Martyrs to be Celebrated

PERTH AMBOY – St. John Paul II Parish Celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of Martyrs. Our Lady of the Rosary Fatima Church, 188 Wayne St., Perth Amboy.

Saturday, April 22, 2017:

12 Noon: Commencement of Feast with food, beverage, and musical presentations.

7 p.m.: Musical presentation of “NRG Band” of South River, NJ for dancing

8 p.m.: Presentation of Folklore group “Barcuense” of Newark

10 p.m.: Continuation of the Dance

12 a.m.: End of the Feast celebration outdoors. Continuation of feast celebration in church hall until 1 a.m.

Sunday, April 23, 2017

11 a.m.: Mass

12 Noon: Procession accompanied by “Filarmonic Band” of Our Lady of Fatima Church of Newark. Feast commencement immediately following with food and beverages.

4 p.m.: Musical Presentation of the group “Duo Rotaco” of Newark

5 p.m.: Presentation of Folklore group “Raizes de Portugal” of South River

8 p.m.: Ceremony of Passing of the Feast Banner of 2018

8:30 p.m.: Continuation of the Dance until 10 p.m.

The Perth Amboy Community invites everyone to attend this Grand Celebration. Don’t miss the homemade traditional desserts, traditional Portuguese foods, games, raffle, etc. Banquet tent protects the festival site to guarantee better climate conditions for the festivities.
