WOODBRIDGE – Come out for an afternoon of fun and games at the International Tabletop Day at Woodbridge Main Library!  Join us on Saturday, April 29th from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for an afternoon of meeting new people and playing new games. We will be featuring classic easy to learn games, such as Ticket to Ride and Tsuro.  We will have demos all day for anyone looking to learn a new game and open gaming for anyone looking to play and meet new people.  It doesn’t matter if you have ever played a tabletop game before or if you are a seasoned player, there is something for everyone and for every age!

Since 2012, International Tabletop Day has served as a day to get together with new people from all over and experience all that tabletop gaming has to offer.  Stretching from simple dice and card games to table spanning epic role playing games.  Tabletop gaming has blossomed in recent years as new players and developers have breathed new life into a medium once dominated by Monopoly and Risk.  There is a game type for everyone; be it press-your-luck type dice games, set building card games, deduction/bluffing social games or even multi-player co-op games where players play against the game itself instead of each other. Sitting at a table and learning a new game fosters a unique social experience that other entertainment mediums are hard pressed to copy. All that is needed is to get some people together or get out there and find a gaming group.  But most importantly is to Play More Games!
