PERTH AMBOY –  4/19/17 City/BID Community Meeting. The BID and the City recently held a seminar at La Terrazza Latina Restaurant located on High Street on how your businesses can improve through Social Media via Cell Phone Photography.

Professional Photographer Paul Scharff who has many high profile clients nationwide shared his experiences and invited guests to display their photographs for constructive criticism.

After Scharff’s presentation, Mayor Diaz and Business Administrator Adam Cruz were excited to let the residents know that there will be Wi-Fi connections throughout the City coming soon. They both anticipate that the City Beaches will be open for all to enjoy by July 2017.

In the 7/22/16 issue of theAmboy Guardian there was a story where Deputy Police Chief Larry Cattano spoke at a press conference that they were still looking to clean up the beaches.

The Beaches opening up were first mentioned when there was the reopening of Bayview Park on October 15, 2016.

The emcee was Luis O. De La Hoz of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, NJ. Barry Rosengarten Chair of Celebrate Stars and Stripes introduced the BID Board Members present and reminded those in attendance about the upcoming Fireworks to be held on Monday, July 3, 2017.
