Police Blotter: Perth Amboy Police Department Release

PERTH AMBOY – Chief Roman McKeon of the Perth Amboy Police Department announced last week, that members of the department’s Special Investigation Unit, Detective Bureau, Juvenile Aid Bureau, along with the Middlesex County Task Force executed a Superior Court Search Warrant for Jose Bilbraut age 58 of Smith St.  The executed the search warrant on Smith St., and the yielded over 300 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 22 pills of clonazepam, 2 pills of Endocet, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and over $3,100.00 in US currency.  Due to the dangerous nature of the substances being seized, the State Police Hazmat Response Unit, Middlesex County Hazmat Unit, along with Paramedics from the Raritan Bay Medical Center responded to the scene, and were assisted by Office of Emergency Management Coordinator, Deputy Chief Lawrence Cattano. The State Police Unit was able to enter and make the scene safe for police to continue their search of the residence.

The following 2 defendants were charged and arrested:

Jose M. Bilbraut Smith St., Perth Amboy, NJ Age 58 charged with Possession of Clonazepam, Endocet, and FENTANYL, Possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000ft of a school, Operating a Narcotic Facility, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.

Yolanda Montalvo of Smith St., Perth Amboy, NJ Age 55 charged with Possession of Clonazepam, Endocet, and FENTANYL, Possession with intent to distribute, Possession with intent to distribute within 1,000ft of a school, Operating a Narcotic Facility, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.

Both defendants were transported to Adult Correctional Facility in North Brunswick, NJ, were they are waiting their hearing as per the New Jersey bail reform.
