PERTH AMBOY, NJ— The Office of Emergency Management has designated three cooling centers in anticipation of high temperatures/heat wave on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center located on 1 Olive Street;
Open M-F from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Raritan Bay Area YMCA located on 357 New Brunswick Avenue;
Sunday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Open M-F from 5:30 a.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Perth Amboy Public Library on 196 Jefferson Street;
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

If anyone sees a person who needs help, they are urged to call the Perth Amboy Police Department at 732-442-4400. If needed, transportation will be provided by local emergency responders.
