Carolyn Maxwell and Katherine Massopust thank Ron Miskoff for suggesting that we ask Rabbi Ari Saks of Beth Mordecai for the use of the Synagogue for our first Mayoral Debate of 2012 and our last debate that was held in 2016.

Rabbi Saks could not have been more gracious, as were his staff. His patience, prayers and presence helped so much in calming our jitters.

Rabbi Saks along with Ron Miskoff also were responsible for the forum between the Palestinian and a Rabbi who became friends despite the conflict going on in their countries. As a Perth Amboy Police Chaplain, Rabbi Saks participated in many interfaith and community events such as the 9-11-01 Services. He would be available at local shopping malls for those who want to know about Judaism and other subjects. As Rabbi Saks and his family prepare to leave Perth Amboy, we want them to know that we appreciate the gift of your presence while you were here and you will remain an honorary Perth Amboyan.
