PERTH AMBOY – This project is a community art concept created by students of Art teacher Olga Bautista from the Perth

Amboy Education Center to display large scale conceptual works on six panel boards representing four interpretations of “A Hunger-Artist” essay by Franz Kafka and by a well- known Japanese print “The Great Wave off Kanazawa” by Katsushika Hokusai. The project was completed in collaboration with the Board of Education and the Office of Recreation of the City of Perth Amboy. It’s at view at a property located on Smith Street at the corner of Herbert Street El Dorado Mural Project was born out of a desire to improve, rehabilitate, and encourage love for the arts in our community.
