United Messengers of Peace to Host Flag Raisings in Support of Lung Cancer Awareness

PERTH AMBOY/NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ: – Nonprofit organization and charity, United Messengers of Peace invites community members to their two upcoming Lung Cancer Awareness Flag Raisings. The first is their Third Annual Lung Cancer Awareness Flag Raising in Perth Amboy, NJ. The event will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 11 AM beginning at City Hall Circle (260 High Street)  and ending at the Perth Amboy Gallery Center for the Arts (339 Reade St). The next event will be their First Annual Lung Cancer Awareness Flag Raising in Conjunction with the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders. This event will take place on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11 AM in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room, located at 75 Bayard St., New Brunswick, NJ. R. Alexandra “Sandy” Larson, ESQ. will be honored at both events. Volunteers are needed for the events. Volunteer information will be provided upon request.

The UMoP Lung Cancer Awareness Flag Raisings,  supported by the Rutgers University Educational Opportunity Program Student Association (EOPSA), the Raritan Bay Area YMCA, Renovation House, Abundant Life Worship Center, Thrift World Outlet, and God’s Army Ministries, will aim to bring awareness of lung cancer to the community.
