PERTH AMBOY – Perth Amboy Mayor Wilda Diaz recently conducted the swearing-in ceremonies for three directors of the City’s Business Improvement District (BID). The new BID Directors are Iris Benzan-Diaz, founder, owner and president of C-Town Supermarket at 272 Maple Street; Asim Malik, owner of the 7-Eleven store at 255 Smith Street; and Jeff Steuber, who grew up in Perth Amboy, lives in the City and is a Realtor Associate at J.J. Elek Realty Company. The BID’s Directors volunteer their time and talent to serve the City by taking action to enhance the downtown area, attract visitors, and promote economic growth.
