Thursday, July 12, 2012 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Francis Street Park Corner of Ashley & Francis Streets, Perth Amboy. This is the 4th year of the PAAC program’s “Thursday Nights at the Park” summer series where we organize different community events, such as themed block parties, basketball tournaments, movie nights, dance contests, Zumba, etc. These events serve as great opportunities for neighbors to meet one another and get involved with other aspects of the PAAC neighborhood revitalization initiative.
This summer kickoff event is unique because we will be announcing the NRTC contribution from Johnson & Johnson in the amount of $297,000, part of which will go toward the renovation of Francis Street Park. City government officials, representatives from the JRF, Johnson & Johnson, & NJDCA will be on hand to make the announcement and answer questions.
