PERTH AMBOY – This week fishing went from hot to cold. We saw little action due in great part to the hot weather and the warming waters the smaller snappers. Cocktail have been the main focus. Spearing little spoons and poppers have been the main tools to use this week. Steve the magnet, the fluke slayer went out to his honey hole and came in with a couple of keepers when a few of the guys came empty proving to Garry who is the king of the kill. Fish are caught if they are 20 feet moved out on to cooler waters that hold more oxygen – 60 to 80 feet. Live killies spearing gulp been doing the trick. The cocktails and crabs have been hitting the chunks of fresh bunker. With not such a great week behind us I look forward to this week’s reports and some great fishing action.
