PERTH AMBOY — A 4th generation family owned and run business Sciortino’s was established at 397 New Brunswick Ave. in 1932. The pizzeria was forced to close in July 2003 due to urban renewal. It reopened in South Amboy in May 2004 and is located on 132 South Broadway Ave. Sciortino’s boasts to be the 5th pizzeria in NJ and the 9th in the USA. On its old site in Perth Amboy now stands the new municipal complex.
