PERTH AMBOY — On Tuesday April 2, 2013, at 1:17 am police were dispatched to the fire scene at 694 West Side Ave. on a report of a burglary in progress. When police arrived they were met the victim who found three people in his residences.

After a police investigation, two adults and one juvenile were arrested and charged with burglary. Arrested were Polfirio Tineo, age 20 Geraldys Batista, age 18 and a juvenile, age 17.

Polfirio Tineo was charged with Burglary and Receiving stolen property and Possession of Burglary Tools. Geraldys Batista was charged with Burglary and Receiving stolen property and Possession of Burglary Tools.

Bail was set by Honorable Judge Maria Del Valle-Koch at $25,000 with no 10% option for Tineo and Batista. The juvenile was released to his mother.
