WOODBRIDGE — Members of the Kevin J. Reinhard Detachment of the Marine Corps League held their induction ceremony at the Woodbridge Elks Club recently … Tony Modzelewski, State Commander of the League congratulated the new officers and commended the detachment for an increase in membership. The new officers installed were:

Burnett Shaffer, Commandant; Bob Hilliard, Sr. Vice Commandant; Ernest Stoukas, Jr. Vice Cmdt; Phil Crocker, Judge Advocate; Paul Coleman, Adjutant; John Bodnar, Paymaster; Harold Mann, Chaplain; Manny Simoes, Sgt. at Arms; James Hamilton, Chief of Staff; Jack McGreevey, Public Affairs and Joe Ruiz, Aide de Camp.

Paymaster Bodnar reported that the detachment, year to date, contributed over $15,000 to the Wounded Warrior Fund and Marines helping Marines among other charities. He stated that, “With our Commandant Shaffer being re-elected our detachment is in very capable hands and will continue to prosper under his care and direction while keeping alive the finest traditions of the Marine Corps.
