Ferry Slip Museum Offers Volunteer Opportunities

PERTH AMBOY — You are needed! Isn’t that a good feeling? The Perth Amboy Ferry slip Museum is in need of volunteers. After damage by Sandy forced its closure, it reopened on May 19 and is now open every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the first Wednesday of each month 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteers are needed for every area. You will be rewarded with fresh sea air, friendly people and a gorgeous water view. Students, earn a Community Volunteer Certificate for college or your work resume. Seniors, meet new people, enjoy the view and learn about our maritime history. For more information: please call Cathy at 732-442-5425
