CARTERET — The photo is a lawn display at 126 Markowitz St., in Carteret made by George Little of the 3 family generations that served and are presently serving in the United States Marine Corps.

George Little Sr. was a Staff Sgt. in the US Marines and served at the end of WWII and served 2 tours of duty in Korea. His son, George Little Jr. was a Sgt. and served in Panama and both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. His Grandson, Captain Marshall Garcia is presently on active duty having served in Afghanistan and is now stationed at Coronado, CA The facial images on each figure are of each of these 3 US Marines. Displays such as this are really patriotic and honor those that that have served and are presently serving our country.
