19th LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT – Senator Joseph F. Vitale, Assemblyman John S. Wisniewski and Assemblyman Craig J. Coughlin are pleased to announce that the 19th Legislative District municipalities of Sayreville, South Amboy and Woodbridge will receive a combined $171,991 in grants through New Jersey’s Department of Transportation Safe Corridor Program which benefits local police departments in an effort to keep dangerous stretches of state highways safe for motorists. Specifically, the Police Departments of Sayreville and South Amboy will receive $47,927.20 and $25,176.95 respectively for traffic enforcement of Route 9.
