The recent Letters to the Editor Column has had a number of letters which distort the positions taken by Governor Christie.

The Governor has stated his opposition to same sex marriage because of his personal religious beliefs. Being raised as a Christian I too believe marriage was created by God to unite one man and one woman in marriage for life. Because nine Appointed lawyers sitting on The U.S. Supreme Court decided to roll over in favor of the current liberal media it does not change the intention of God.

The U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate should pass laws which reinstate the previous definition of marriage. If those elected officials fail to or refuse to so act. Judeo/Christian Americans should move for a Constitutional Amendment to accomplish this goal.

Marriage is too important a part of our society to allow the Supreme Court ruling to stand. All clergy, Christians and other people of faith must stand together to restore marriage to its proper place in society.
