SOUTH AMBOY – Beverly Samuelson, an Amboy Guardian contributor and author of the book “The Eyes of Greed,” was in St. Maarten for a book signing recently. During her stay, the book was promoted at The Shipwreck Shop which has stores in Phillipsburg, Marigot, Simpson Bay and Princess Juliana International Airport.

Beverly Samuelson, right, presents a book to St. Maarten Prime Minister Sarah Wescott-Williams.
There was even a presentation to the islands Prime Minister Sarah Wescott-Williams, a leader who is admired by all for her integrity and outstanding contributions she has made to bring St. Maarten up to the high standard it is today, while developing a bright future for the island and its residents.
Beverly said “Prime Minister Wescott-Williams is an amazing woman who is leading the island in the right direction. She is making intelligent decisions that will benefit the residents of the island while creating a great vacation destination for tourists. Beverly has been going to St. Maarten since 1985 and considers the island as her second home.”
The island has also been the location for movies like Speed 2 and with St. Maarten’s popularity growing, I’m sure before long, we will see movie cameras going there to set-up, to film the movie “The Eyes of Greed”!
The book is about political corruption, murder, adultery, everything for a spicy read while relaxing on a tropical island. The story goes from New Jersey to St. Maarten to Italy. The book is a work of fiction and is a real attention holder, that will keep you wanting to turn the pages for more. Congratulations Beverly and keep writing! The book is also available on Amazon.com and Barns & Noble.
