This is a wonderful book. I bought two copies: one for my mother now living in Texas ( a Perth Amboy native) and one for myself (now living in Los Angeles). My maternal grandparents came here in the 1920’s and owned a house on Brace Ave.
Reading these stories has had the twin effect of jogging memories of my early childhood as well as learning much about our hometown.
    Buy this book!!

I am hoping that the author will followup with a volume of photos from 1945 to the present.
