The media told of a proposed law that would ban .50 caliber rifles, etc. This seems like a regurgitation of an earlier failed proposal to ban firearms that were greater than .50 caliber. While it seems to be aimed at a rare firearm, the effect would be ban most shotguns, as well as those 19th Century firearms used in historical re-creations.

Does that gun-control lobby represent anyone besides their paid employees and people gullible enough to believe their claims?
