PERTH AMBOY – Gordon Thomas Ward, ghost hunter, author, historian, guitarist, singer-songwriter, inspirational speaker, presenter, spoke at Perth Amboy’s Ferry Slip Museum on Sunday, October 27. Mr. Ward penned “Ghosts of Central Jersey, Historic Haunts of the Somerset Hills he elaborated on his findings at the event. He said he believes in the reality of ghosts through personal experience and that his experience is not unusual since “ghosts” have been seen by young, old, the schooled and unschooled, both dreamers and men of science.

He presented both a historic and paranormal perspective of the haunted sites he covered. Some of which were Gladstone Tavern, New Jersey Brigade site, the Grain House in Basking Ridge, parts of the Great Swamp, Prallsville Mills and the former Bernardsville Library which was, at one time, the Vealtown Tavern during the Revolutionary War era.

Ward offered the audience the opportunity to hear ghostly voices through recordings of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP).

Ward is a member of Haunted New Jersey, a group of paranormal researchers with decades of investigative experience.
