A 32-year-old man was shot and killed by a Perth Amboy police officer early Thursday afternoon on Hall Avenue. Relatives say he had the mental capacity of a 12-year old. Dixon Rodriguez reportedly had a knife in his hand when he was shot, according to media reports. The Amboy Guardian will update this story a more information becomes known.
