FORDS – On Friday, Dec. 13th the Our Lady of Peace School’s 8th Grade held their annual “Christmas Bazaar” in the school cafeteria. They sold many, many homemade items as well as vendor bought items and homemade treats. 8th grade teacher Mrs. Kelly Dubasak worked after school every day for the last several weeks with her eight grade students to make this fundraiser a huge success and it was!!
Mr. Cliff Dubasak assisted as well by making handmade Christmas trees to display the handmade Christmas ornaments that the children made for the bazaar. This fundraiser helps to defray graduation costs for the 8th grade families. All classes grades Prek3 thru 8th had a great time shopping for their families and went home with huge bags of goodies for the big day. Many students were joined by their parents and grandparents to help them make those important purchases while holiday music played in the background.
