PERTH AMBOY – Congratulations are in order for Bishop Donald and his wife, Pastor Phyllis Hilliard as they received the Dr. Gene & Barbara Blue Healthy Marriage Couples of Excellence Award at the 15th Annual National Fatherhood & Families Conference, Las Vegas, Nevada, Friday, February 14, 2014. They took part also in the renewal of vows ceremony following the awards ceremony. Last year, 2013, the Hilliard’s celebrated 30 years of pastoring Cathedral International, the historic Second Baptist Church. This year they celebrate 33 years of marriage.

The Fathers and Families Coalition of America is the national organization that selected the Hilliard’s to receive the prestigious award. They facilitate the professional development of local fatherhood & family engagement service providers in states throughout the Country.
