PERTH AMBOY – The subject came up again. Residents and frequent Council Meeting attendees Alan Silber and Stanley Sierakowski begged the question: “Why aren’t all of the Municipal Board meetings shown on PA-TV (Channel 34 – Comcast, 47 – FIOS)?

Both Silber and Sierakowski mentioned that when former MayorJoeVaswasinofficeall of the meetings were shown. Silber wanted to know who determines what meetings are shown. Sierakowski continuously has said that Mayor Diaz is the one who decides this. He thinks that she does not want the public to see some of the things discussed and the behavior of the people on the Boards.

Council President Joel Pabon said he will let Sierakowski know who makes the decisions as to what meetings are shown.
