FORDS – A Soup Can Drive was held this month at Our Lady of Peace School in Fords. A grand total of 738 cans of soup were collected in all! The class who collected the most cans were treated to a “nut day”…which is an out of uniform day at OLP School. That honor went to Ms. Kristina Olenchak’s 2nd grade class whom collected 147!

The 8th grade students packed up the soup cans to be delivered by Mrs. Theresa Borg to the St. Cecilia’s Food Pantry. Mrs. Borg has a long history with Our Lady of Peace School. Her daughter Kristina Borg not only attended Our Lady of Peace School but has been a long time 6th grade teacher at OLP.
