Last Spring the utilities company came through and trimmed the two trees in front of our home at 104 Madison Ave. When they left the trees were badly misshapen with the bulk of the trees leaning toward our homes at 104 and 106. Three large branches were leaning over the utility wires that serviced these addresses.
I spoke to Mr. Dann about this problem and he dispatched a crew to check out the situation. The crew removed the offending branches, shaped the trees back into some sense of order and cleaned up the entire job site. We will be enjoying these trees for years to come.
With the winter weather we have been suffering I have no doubt in my mind that we would have lost these trees to ice and snow leaving my wife and I and our neighbors at 106 without light and heat for who knows how long.
Our greatest appreciation to Mr. Dann and his department.
Thomas P. Ward
