PERTH AMBOY – Over 60 people attended a Network Business Seminar held at the Barge Restaurant held on 2/20/14. The UEZ/BID of Perth Amboy teamed with Business Consultant Milton Paris of Getting Ahead in Business to host the event.

Mayor Wilda Diaz offered remarks to those in attendance. She explained the advantages of having your business in Perth Amboy, whether it’s new, expanding or relocating.

Milton Paris introduced four businesses who gave a brief overview of their products and services. Speakers included: Tillman Doe, Reinaldo Villahermosa and Tom Ploskanka.

Topics discussed were: How to comply with Payroll and Employee withholding laws; How to increase your sales thru text marketing; How and when to start planning for your own retirement; How to take charge of your goals in 2014.

Upcoming seminars and Meet ‘N Greet’s will be posted in future editions of The Amboy Guardian. The next Meet ‘N Greet will be held in April. Date and location to be announced.
