PERTH AMBOY – The AULCHS held its event for the senior class at the Raritan Bay YMCA, on Feb. 28.

Dr. Shirley Smoyak addressed the Class of 2014, who will be the first class to receive diplomas from the school. She spoke on the topic, “Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices Regarding High Energy Drinks (HED) Alone and With Alcohol.” The students answered a survey about the topics, and then Dr. Smoyak proceeded to explain the answers which were supported with stories, facts and statistics from a study conducted at Rutgers University.

The students were receptive to the information shared by Dr. Smoyak and seemed to be surprised by some of the facts they learned during the session.
