Madison Lopez Nominated for National Youth Leadership Forum

PERTH AMBOY – Perth Amboy student, Madison Lopez, has been nominated by her fourth grade teacher, Ms. Jennifer Poandl of Dr. Herbert Richardson Elementary School in Perth Amboy.  This nomination gives Madison the opportunity to participate in The National Youth Leadership Forum(NYLF): Pathways to Discovery on Engineering, Medicine & CSI, an Envision program to be held at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Madison was recognized by her teacher as a student, who at her young age, demonstrates exceptional maturity, scholastic merit, and leadership potential.  She will have the opportunity to explore a future career in: engineering, medicine, and detective work.

She will be joining other young students from around the region in intensive, engaging, hands-on workshops focused on decision- making, goal setting, team building, conflict resolution, and communication. This program will allow her to gain new insights into how leaders bring different types of people together – from team-building to goal-setting to problem solving – as well as discover her potential for success.

I am so honored and pleased that my daughter will be taking an important step toward being recognized as a young leader in her school and her community.
