PERTH AMBOY – Perth Amboy librarians Melanie Bolick, Vilma Novak & Ashley Miranda hold a documentary DVD. This brand new documentary is available at the Perth Amboy Library, currently located at Brighton Ave & Sadowski Parkway. The DVD is free to the general public, courtesy of the Dyke Family. It is entitled “George Inness: Peace & Plenty In Perth Amboy.” John Dyke’s documentary takes an in-depth look at the times, the circumstances, and the people surrounding the creation of Inness’ landscape masterpiece. Here a saga is put forth detailing a long forgotten place within Perth Amboy history—a place that helped shape what America was about to become.
