Senior Planner with the City of Perth Amboy Office of Economic and Community Development, Annie Hindenlang answered the concerns of Sierakowksi about this property. She said, “This property which is located near the Victory Bridge is City owned. We did environmental investigations. It is not part of any discussion related to the High School.”

Business Administrator Jillian Barrick talked about the 50 acre Celotex property, “We are looking to make this into a retail/commercial area. There are RFP’s (Request For Proposals) going out tomorrow (8/12/14). I talked to the Board of Education Jess about other options to build a High School. The Celotex property is off the table.”
