PERTH AMBOY – In the 8/27/14 Issue of the Amboy Guardian Sharon Hubberman was misquoted.

Sharon Hubberman actually stated “I have always advocated for a non partisan election because it allows the people to vote for candidates based on the issues.  That is the ideal.  However, the reality is that in Perth Amboy, although it is a NON PARTISAN election, most of the candidates in the 2012 election  made it into a PARTISAN election.  On that note, I advocate for letting the people decide on what kind of election to have in Perth Amboy.”
