This letter was read at the 9/23/14 Board of Education Meeting:

Much has been said about the Perth Amboy Board of Education lately and all of it has been brought about by a renegade Board Member with no credentials and little veracity.

I believe this Board is being held hostage by a member who is not even qualified to be on the Board. Just because an election was held does not mean this person has the correct credentials to be here.

It is a known fact that as a substitute teacher this person vilified a student, called him obnoxious names, threatened to kill him and made sexual innuendos toward the student.

This is not the action of a U.S. Marine whom this man claims to be. He does not have the license to kill as he so claims. He has only the premise to defend himself as given in the Constitution. I have that same Constitutional right to defend myself, but not to kill someone.

The Board has suffered much with the antics of this Board Member causing many disparaging and untrue remarks about people on the Board of Superintendent of Schools and even the machinations of this Body.

When will people in this town realize that to get anything done, they must work together. There is an unhealthy atmosphere when lies and bullying are thrown about by anyone person. This is despicable.

To claim something factual there must be truth behind it. There have been made lies and threats. All of them are unfounded.

Channel 4 News was called before the fact. An incident was created and lies were told to the T.V. All untrue.

When does this stop and when will this Board of Education finally get rid of baggage which is keeping  them from moving forward. Our teachers are told to toe the line – why shouldn’t the Board be held to high standards as well?

When one goes out of their way to commit sabotage, it is a sign that the person or persons should not be in any position of authority.

It is inconceivable that a person elected by the people should not be a shining example for students. When one looks up to someone it is because of the pride which they have for that person.

How can anyone especially a child whose life is still forming look up to anyone who denigrates and demeans their peers?

These formative years for these children are now what they see and what they hear is tantamount to what their future will be. Everything I have stated is public knowledge. Marines I have spoken to would like to see his DD214.
