PERTH AMBOY –  St. Peter’s Episcopal Church participated in the We Care Walk on 9/20/14.  Participants met at the Perth Amboy Train Station and proceeded to walk down Smith Street and ended at the church which is located on beautiful historic waterfront. The walk benefited the Coalition of Food Pantries which is an exciting new partnership between the Diocesan Jubilee Office, The Battle Against Hunger and We Care-Perth Amboy Coalition of Food Pantries. This enabled the Perth Amboy Coalition of Food Pantries the opportunity to raise funds, raise awareness and build relationships to help fight hunger and its causes in the City of Perth Amboy and its surrounding areas.
