PERTH AMBOY –  Chanukah was celebrated at a ceremony held on 12/16/14 at the City Hall Council Chambers. Those who participated included Herschel Chomsky, Rabbi Ari Saks and family, Mayor Wilda Diaz, Rabbi Shabsi Ganzweig (Perth Amboy Police Chaplain Corps) and Chaplain Shmuel D. Fried. Chanukah songs were performed by the children from the Wilentz School Gifted and Talented Chorus under the direction of Diane Squillace and Claudine Bishop. The Council was represented by Bill Petrick, and Council President Joel Pabon. Assemblyman Craig Coughlin represented the 19^th District. As you can tell by the photos below, everyone had an enjoyable time.
