PERTH AMBOY – The intersection of Maple Street and Fayette Street will become a three-way stop. Cars entering Maple Street from New Brunswick Avenue will have to come to a complete stop when entering the intersection of Fayette and Maple. There have been numerous accidents at this intersection where for years.
Ordinance No. 194-78 was amended to add the stop sign. Presently there is a warning sign to let motorists know that a permanent stop sign will be added shortly.
