PERTH AMBOY—On Sunday, March 25, 2018, Middlesex County STEM charter school (MCSC) held its first open house, in order to provide the Perth Amboy community more information about the new elementary charter school, set to open this upcoming September (2018).
The community was highly supportive, as (MCSC) seems like a promising school for the Perth Amboy community. “The school offers a rigorous STEM based curriculum, that will ensure that elementary school students are learning how to use technology from a very young age,” said Dr. Namik Sercan, MSCSC principal. He stated that the school staff will work fervently in order to emulate Central Jersey College Prep Charter School’s (MCSC’s sister school) academic rigor and success. Parents and guardians expressed avid interest and support of the new school, as the school deems to be a promising elementary K-5 school.
The school’s administrative team will host two more open houses on April 11 at 6pm & April 21 at 10 am; both open houses will take place in the Alexander Jankowski Community Center, located at 1 Olive Street, Perth Amboy, NJ
All community members are welcome to join in order to learn more about the school. MCSC is currently accepting applications for students grades K through 2 via the school’s website:
