Press Release 3/29/18

PERTH AMBOY – Coach Meredith Lyndon will compete in the Master’s National Championships. Coach Meredith will be competing in the 2018 YMCA Master’s National Meet scheduled for April 19-22, 2018. We are super excited and wish her the best of luck!

Coach Meredith has been in the Master’s Program at the RARITAN BAY AREA YMCA for 8 years and a volunteer coach for the last 5 years. She’s the assistant coach to the Y’s Tsunami Swim Team, Head RBAY Masters Swim Coach and due to her dedication, commitment and love for swimming she has lost over 70 lbs. “Being a coach has helped me because whatever I instruct the swimmers from the Tsunami team to do and work on, I also do it myself” said Coach Meredith. She has competed in over 50 competitions including the National Senior Games in June of 2017.

The RBAY Master’s Team is an organization for adults who want to continue to grow their technique while being a part of a team. Swimmers compete in meets throughout the US in both individual events and relays.
