4/12/18 Board of Education Meeting

PERTH AMBOY – Gifted &Talented Students from the Wilentz School under the direction of Ms. Meina Montalbano and Principal R.L. Anderson performed The Fishing Song, The Chinese New Year Song and the Peach Blossom Dance. This was in honor of Chinese New Year. The students wore traditional Chinese dress and shirts.

Wilentz School Principal R.L. Anderson said, “We have a multitude of multicultural programs. Students learn about culture through storytelling.

Superintendent Dr. David Roman stated, “Our goal is to bring the school home to you  so you could see what is happening in this district. If you noticed, there was a quietness when the students were performing. We are in a collective journey – all of us to bring love to this community. These children are phenomenal.”

Board Member Randy Convery said, “We have no shortage of talent when it comes to our students.”
