PERTH AMBOY – The JEMMS Foundation Inc. is having their 9th Annual Pasta Night & Tricky Tray on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by an Auction at 8 p.m. at the Hungarian Reformed Church Hall, 347 Kirkland Place, Perth Amboy. The JEMMS Foundation Inc. was established in 2010 in loving memory of Jennifer Elizabeth Metzger who was a 16-year-old sophomore at Colonia High School. Jennifer was killed in an accident on May 14, 2009. We have established this scholarship to help out the community of high school students in the Greater Middlesex Conference who participate in all sports to help students further their education and to keep the memory and spirit of Jennifer alive. Jennifer was an avid bowler and her dream was to become a pro-bowler. Jennifer was also a member of the cheerleading squad and loved being on the track team in junior high school. We award two (2) scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 each. We require the students to write an essay on “safe driving” in order to be considered for our scholarship. We have also branched out to the community to help out those in need.
