It’s Time for New Leadership in the GOP

PERTH AMBOY – On Tuesday, June 12th, elected county committee members of the Middlesex County Republican Organization will have a choice on who will be their next County Chair and party executive board.

Sharon D. Hubberman, former Middlesex County Freeholder Candidate, and current Perth Amboy Republican Chair has announced she will accept her nomination for the Middlesex County Republican Chairmanship and is very enthusiastic to help lead the party in a new direction with her running mates, “There is great potential to deliver winning results, and our terrific team consists of outstanding individuals who have field experience and are results driven,” Hubberman said. “Itʼs a critical time to energize our party with new ideas, expand our base with branding initiatives, and support our local chairs in winning campaigns.”

Joining Hubberman are Old Brige Councilwoman Eleanor “Debbie” Walker, Middlesex County Young Republican Chair John Steiner, and Community Leader and campaign operative Roseann Thompson. “Iʼm proud to be part of this accomplished and energetic team,” said Debbie Walker. “Together we will build and unify the Middlesex County Republican Organization.” Adding to this enthusiasm is John Steinerʼs view on how vital it is to focus on what we can do today: “I am not focused on yesterday, or tomorrow, I am focused on the best path for today.” Further, Roseann Thompsonʼs states, “Iʼm excited to be a part of this team working towards a positive direction for Middlesex county republicans.”

The formal candidates are:

Chair – Sharon D. Hubberman of Perth Amboy

Vice Chair – Eleanor “Debbie” Walker of Old Bridge

Treasurer – John Steiner of East Brunswick

Secretary – Roseann Thompson of Old Bridge
