PERTH AMBOY – The Perth Amboy Soccer Club Lady Warriors made the Perth Amboy Community proud after winning the Mid Jersey Youth Soccer Flight Three Division Championship. They defeated the Branchburg Bombers to obtain the flight championship and made it to the playoff games. Playing the different flight champions was a great challenge. This group of young athletes attending the Perth Amboy Dual Language School accomplished greatness. The game was tough, but the Perth Amboy Lady Warriors played their best game to defeat the flight fourth champions. The joy of their proud parents was visible as they chanted “!Si se Puede!” (Yes we can!) The playoff semifinal presented to be the biggest obstacle to overcome to reach the Mid-Jersey Youth Soccer grand finale. The game was not easy as the Tewksbury Leopard showed their soccer skill and talent. However, they were no match for the Lady Warriors playing abilities. They won 2-1 in a close game to pass to the playoff grand finale against Fire Soccer Club Flight one champion. The Lady Warriors made their best effort and played with an unseen level of game intensity. In the end, the Lady Warriors won second place in the Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer girls U-11. This group of skill and talented young girls had raised the soccer playing bar very high not only in Perth Amboy but in Central New Jersey.  As a result, we are all very proud their accomplishment. Congratulations Lady Warriors!!!!
