Speaker of The General Assembly Craig J. Coughlin, Middlesex Water Company, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Woodbridge Metro Chamber Of Commerce To Host 9th Annual Bowl For Hunger Thursday, July 19th

19th LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT – Speaker of the General Assembly Craig J. Coughlin in partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health, the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, and Middlesex Water Company will host the 9th Annual “Bowl for Hunger” Thursday, July 19th between the hours of 5:30 and 10:00 PM at the Majestic Lanes, 525 State Route 9 North in the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge Township.  The venue will host two bowl sessions with over 550 pre-registered bowlers who, through their support and the support of local sponsors, are uniting to strike out hunger in the 19th Legislative District. 

The media is invited to join in support of this community event. Organizers welcome the public to stop by to show their support for the area’s food banks, cheer on participants, and purchase a Bowl for Hunger t-shirt.

Last year’s Bowl for Hunger raised over $34,000 for the thirty-two one banks in the towns of Carteret, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South Amboy, and Woodbridge. Proceeds from this year’s event will be divided evenly among the thirty-one food banks serving area residents.
