Classroom Safety
Is providing protection for students “nonsense” as one newspaper editorial claimed? If there is a possible danger to students and teachers, then it is foolish to refuse additional protection. Rejecting this idea shows poor judgment.
The Federal government and others use guns for protection. Would you also object if the Federal government provided health care for students aged 5 to 18? Arming some teachers is a practical way to protect schools against a terrorist. No shootings have taken place in schools where there were armed teachers. Should schools also teach proper behavior to students?

Rats!!!
Well, I see South Amboy is having a rat problem, but don’t feel bad, South Amboy. We in Perth Amboy also have a rat problem, too. And I don’t mean those rats that talk to the Mayor. This is caused by the heatwave and the dirty streets and leftover food. This rat problem will grow because of growing population in cities across America and will be a health issue in the future. New York City has the same problem, but they have those super rats and they make great watch dogs because of their size. This rat problem will be hard to resolve and there’s no quick fix solution.
