PERTH AMBOY – The “Working For You” slate for City Council handed in their petitions on 9/4/18. They are newcomers to the political scene.
The kickoff rally in support for a slate of candidates for the City Council was held on Thursday, August 9th, 2018.
The supporting community gathered to join the three council candidates, Alana Cueto, Vincent Makfinsky and Marilou Villacis for their formal introduction to the public and the grand opening of the campaign headquarter’s new location headquarters at 364 State Street.
“We have made incredible strides in the City of Perth Amboy these past 10 years– however, our growing and maturing community is in need of experienced community-driven individuals who will work for the people,” said Mayor Wilda Diaz.
“The vision of this team is to ensure the wellbeing of our community and to improve the quality of life for all of our residents,” Diaz continued. “I am excited to stand by Alana Cueto, Vincent Makfinsky and Marilou Villacis as they announce their candidacies.”
Election Day is Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
