PERTH AMBOY – I am a lifelong resident in the City of Perth Amboy and am very proud to say I am third generation. My family and I continue to grow and flourish in Perth Amboy. I’ve committed myself to service working as a nurse in Perth Amboy for over 30 years. I work at CareOne LTAC Hospital at Raritan Bay Medical Center for over fifteen years.
I am the current Community Outreach President for CareOne LTAC Hospital at Raritan Bay Medical Center. I have reached out to the community to help educate in health issues affecting the City residents. As a nurse I am very passionate about the health of our community. I have helped initiate an annual bake sale to raise money for women in need of Mammograms. The money we raised has helped hundreds of women offset the cost of annual mammograms; this has helped many women that would not be able to afford the cost. Through the years I have been very active in my children’s schools helping organize many fundraisers such as Bingo, Holiday Bazaar and anywhere else my help was needed. Through my volunteer work I have built a vast network with local businesses.
I volunteer my time with food banks donating 100’s of bags of canned box pasta food to Good Shepherd pantry.
I spearhead a drive to give back and collected over 1000 pieces of personal care products for men in recovery to help Pastor Sears keep his cost down. I also step up as chair of the kitchen for the holiday Bazar at the Ukraine Assumption School for the last 10 years.
