Press Release 12/5/18
SOUTH AMBOY – The South Amboy Parade Committee and the South Amboy Arts Society invite you to attend a St. Patrick’s Day celebration with Seamus Kennedy. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Seamus Kennedy has been entertaining audiences across the United States for almost four decades through music and humor.
Kennedy’s huge repertoire includes traditional Irish music, classic Country & Western, American standards and Scottish ballads. This will be an evening of Celtic entertainment at its best!
In his interactive performance, Kennedy invites audiences to sing along to silly lyrics and to jump up and dance to the music of his guitar or bodhrán as he plays a lively Irish jig or reel. His clear baritone voice delivers on cherished Irish ballads like “Danny Boy”.
The performance will take place on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Community Theatre of South Amboy, located within the South Amboy Middle High School complex at 200 Governor Harold G.
